Interior Painting

Interior painting is one of our specialties.

All of our clients' interiors require individualized preparation before any paint is applied to the wall. We use only top quality paint and cleaning materials and take care to ensure that each step of the process is handled with complete professionalism. We pay extra special attention to protecting adjacent and surrounding areas from any drips and spatter by covering your floors and furniture with plastic and/or canvas drop cloths. We will remove all outlet covers (and replace them after we have finished painting), fill any minor imperfections (such as nail holes), and caulk any areas where needed (including moldings and doors). We prime all the repaired areas with one (1) coat of Benjamin Moore's Fresh Start Latex primer.

Most customers prefer to remove their personal items from the rooms which will be painted, such as pictures, shelving, fragile items and knick-knacks. We will move your small and large furniture to the middle of the room if assistance is needed and we will replace your furniture once the painting process is completed. All of the freshly painted areas will be swept and vacuumed. We will also remove any debris from your home.

The bottom line - we treat your house as we would treat our own. We always make sure that we leave your home or business in the state in which we found it. We are professional from start of the job to the very end.

Exterior Painting

We only use premium paint and cleaning materials and take care to ensure that each step of the process is handled with complete professionalism. We always make sure all of your walkways, driveways, pavers, patio furniture and shrubs are protected from any paint splatter by protecting them with canvas and/or plastic drop cloths.

Before applying the finish coat, we:

• Pressure wash your entire home to clean dirt, mildew and chalking.
• Scrape and sand all areas that are peeling and flaking.
• Spot-prime all bare and previously peeling surfaces with MAD DOG Primer to ensure substrate is sealed, a product which makes the topcoat last 2-3x longer.
• Prime wood knots, acids and oils with Zinsser's BIN White Pigmented Shellac Based primer to prevent them from bleeding through the finish coat.
• Spot-prime rusted metal with rust-inhibiting primer.
• Scuff sand existing glossy paint to remove sheen and ensure proper adhesion.
• Caulk all gaps and seams with either Dap's 55 Year Siliconized Latex Caulking or OSI's Quad Sealant to prevent moisture damage.
• Remove or mask hardware & exterior lighting to protect them from paint.

Once the surfaces are prepared, we:

Start applying the topcoat of paint. The majority of exteriors are brushed and rolled. The areas that are rolled are always back-brushed to make sure of an even application. Detailed areas, such as doors, windows, and trim, are always brushed to perfection.

We always apply two (2) coats of Topcoat no matter what.

Clean-up:

We make sure that we leave your home or business in the state in which we found it. That means that we:

• Remove all masking used in paint preparation.
• Replace all your furniture or equipment moved during the painting process.
• Ensure that all of our equipment and materials are removed from your property, and remove any debris, litter or paint chips that have accumulated during the painting process.
